About Jan Newman

The cauldron of life experiences makes us who we are. I am a dedicated massage therapist who cares. My beginnings started in physical therapy when attending PT with family members. The knowledge and passion expressed by the therapist inspired a passion in me. Nothing is more rewarding than helping relieve someone’s aches, pains, or discomforts.

I received my PTA license in 1988 and my MT in 2000. I later received advanced training in lymphedema management in 2008. I have also attended hundreds of continuing education courses some of which are listed on this site.

Since 2015, my sole focus has been my independent MT practice. I have a quiet, beautiful office that welcomes relaxation. A special massage table is also provided for moms-to-be, which allows moms to lie face down without pressure on the baby.

I am happy to customize your session to include your choice of music, use of stones, massage types and pressure, or working with your healthcare provider to address more specific problem areas.
